Shepherd Chemical manufactures a number of organic and inorganic compounds which enhance the performance of polymers. We offer copper, bismuth, and iron salts which improve the functionality and strength of polymers. We work with our customers to achieve the desired particle morphology which results in the best fit for their final product.
Shepherd offers a wide variety of metal organic compounds which can be used to impart specific functionalities into a polymer matrix. These properties can range from appearance to oxygen scavenging. Our products in this area are often customized to fit the application needs for our customers, our ability to achieve specific metal contents and develop the product in a form which fits the usage technology of the customers enables the use of metal based additives in a wide variety of polymer matrices.
Shepherd Chemical’s particle synthesis capability allows us to develop size controlled inorganic particles which can impart very specific properties in polymers. |
