Strontium

Strontium is a dark metallic element which is highly chemically reactive. The principal strontium mineral is celestite, naturally occurring strontium sulfate.

Strontium is primarily used for manufacture of color television picture tubes. It is also used as a glass additive and glazes for coloring and in the manufacture of magnets.
