Shepherd Chemical manufactures titanium diisopropoxide bis(acetylacetonate) under the trade name BiLUBE® 2543. This particular material is used as a lubricant additive and catalyst. The finished product is shipped as a liquid with 25 wt% isopropanol.

We are also working to develop new titanium materials that can be used as individual lubricant additives or formulated as mixtures with other additives. These materials are also useful as catalysts for certain transformations, such as transesterification reactions. Currently, we have titanium neodecanoate and titanium 2-ethylhexanoate in development.
