With the release of our 2025 Annual Sustainability Report, we’re proud to share how we’re turning that commitment into measurable impact across our operations, communities, and customer partnerships.

Our sustainability roadmap is built on three key pillars that guide every decision we make:

Conserve

We take resource responsibility seriously—from reducing water and energy usage to minimizing waste and optimizing raw material consumption. A standout example: an innovative process overhaul that now saves over 10 million gallons of water annually, eliminates hazardous raw materials, and cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 0.25 lbs. CO₂ per pound of product produced.

At our Mirecourt, France facility, we’ve also installed advanced VOC emission control systems, reducing atmospheric pollutants while optimizing energy usage through ECO Mode. These efforts not only ensure compliance but also demonstrate how thoughtful engineering leads to environmental progress.

Protect

Health, safety, and environmental responsibility are at the core of how we operate. Through programs like SafeStart and a new Near Miss Reporting System, we are building a culture where every team member is empowered to identify risks, share feedback, and promote a safer workplace. Near miss reports increased by over 300% in 2024, showing heightened employee engagement and accountability.

On the climate front, we’ve committed to reducing GHG emissions intensity across our U.S. operations and expanding our use of renewable electricity. These targets are grounded in the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards and support global efforts to address climate change while aligning with our business growth goals.

Contribute

We believe chemistry can—and should—do good. Our bismuth-based chemistries are advancing safer alternatives to heavy metals in medical, industrial, and consumer applications. These innovations reduce toxicity and improve sustainability across multiple sectors, from x-ray imaging to polyurethane production.

Beyond the lab, our teams are deeply engaged in community outreach. Through programs like Adopt-A-Class and Baby Bear, we mentor students in underserved communities and provide essentials for families in need—fostering both opportunity and dignity.
